Iron Man

Sometimes man needs to push limits to explore his own mind. I have set the goal to do an Iron Man within 2 years from now. After two Marathons (New York & Rotterdam), I am now preparing for the Amsterdam Marathon (Sunday 19 October 2008), looking for a time below 3.00 hours. After that I hope to do the oldest Marathon in the world. In the meanwhile I will work on my swimming and cycling techniques. Anyway, a lot of fun stuff to look forward to!

Shuttle Launch

Glad I woke up at 2.15am this morning. Launch conditions were good, only unfortunate that there was an overcast at around 6000 feet. I didn’t take this video myself, but this is how it looked like. Sound was pretty impressive also. This might as well be the last night Shuttle launch ever, the Space Shuttle is due to retire in 2009.
