While there is a global consensus that Whale hunting should be forbidden, countries like Japan, Norway and Iceland continue to hunt for Whales.

Coming to you soon on Animal Planet is the Whale War series, filmed on board of the Steve Irwin. This year Operation Musashi takes place, I personally hope it will be even more successful than last year. Although some people criticize Sea Shepherd for their tactics, the Japanese have no right to be hunting whales for their so-called scientific purposes. May the whales prevail!

For 2009-2010 I have set the goal to qualify for the IronMan (3.2km swimming, 180km cycling, 42.195km running). This summer I will compete in the 70.3 Iron Man (1/2 distance) in Antwerp.

In order to complete the Ironman it will take a year of heart pounding dedication and training. I will do this with a friend of mine and we are planning to raise money for Sea Shepherd. More info soon!
